

What is DWmail™ Winmail Decoder ?: DWmail™ Winmail Decoder is a Windows application that parses and decodes Winmail.dat email attachments to usable formats.
Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format or TNEF is a proprietary e-mail attachment format used by Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange Server. An attached file with TNEF encoding is most usually called winmail.dat or win.dat and has a MIME type of Application/MS-TNEF.

Does the DWmail Winmail Decoder come with any third party software?
The only software that comes with the DWmail Winmail Decoder is the program needed to install the application. The application uses a library licensed under the LGPL based on that from OpenPOP called TNEFAttachment. The source is available here. This library has been modified by Dominion Web
